Welcome to my shop, I'm delighted you are here. MaryClareArt is where I create and sell faith centered artwork, including a children's book, prints, prayer beads, rosaries and jewelry. Although my first love as an artist is drawing and painting, I love to experiment with other media as well.

The children's book is called "Joseph's Heart: A Story of Adoption" and tells the story of the Nativity through the eyes of St. Joseph and how he became the adoptive father of Jesus. As a parent by both birth and adoption, I couldn't find a book explaining the spiritual side of adoption in a way young children could understand. So I wrote and illustrated one to encourage all whose lives are touched by adoption and inspire those who are considering it. A great gift for Christmas, Father's Day, or the birth or adoption of a child, signed copies are available in my shop as well as prints from the book.

Several years ago I was given a box of beads. They were intriguing and I wanted to make something meaningful as well as beautiful with all these tiny objects. After some research on the history of beads, and prayer beads in particular, I started making rosaries and chaplets.

I also create Psalm 23 jewelry, designed with a set of colored beads, each bead representing a different verse. The bracelet encourages the wearer to meditate on the comforting words of this Psalm.
